I can tell you what they won't do That is insane! 19 kW would include many whole-house generators. What are folks going to do when the rolling blackouts hit again? Change voting habits as we circle the drain. All us "rich folk" who can afford backups don't suffer as much as the poor folk so they want to level the playing field the leftist way. Rather than fix the grid, build a few nukes or keep a few more NG power plants on reserve, they punish the successful so everyone's food spoils when the lights go out. Just before the recall election, Newsom ordered a few NG plants and a scheduled for decommissioning nuke plant to remain in service at least through the election...
