Hi! I'm new to this thread and I am a shareholder of Microprose. I just heard about the earnings and was somewhat disappointed. But after reading the Yahoo thread, I sense hope. I know rumors, rumors, rumors but hey I guess we just have to wait and find out.

Although this message from Yahoo is a rumor, there is reason to believe that it is true. This substantial increase in the stock price over the past few days (1 3/4 to 2 3/4) is interesting. From reading messages on the Broderbund thread, I have noticed that they do have a clear lack of titles in their future product pipeline.... something that MPRS has in abundance. The report from MPRS stated problems in its distribution network which is something that Broderbund could help out with. This situation is similar to the GTIS one, where one has great distribution channels (GTIS) and one has great games (MPRS). We'll see what happens over the next couple of weeks.... Marc
