The wisdom of the crowd rather than capitalism, democracy, or anything else is what makes for good government.

I agree, that's more or less what I have been trying to write for years but it takes my many more words.

LOL, the crowds are mostly morons. Teachers, scientists, engineers struggle to get by while "singers" (if you want to call current auto tune 3 note songs singers) make millions for a 2 hour concert. Actors with delusional mental issues make more than MBAs.
The average citizen can barely balance a checkbook, has no clue about interest, cost/benefit analysis or even basic economics, politics or any skill needed for evaluating effective leadership.
Most people vote based on looks, publicity stunts etc. Clinton playing the saxophone on late night made his ratings soar. Kennedy got 90% of the female vote.
I'd rather keep the checks and balances. We keep moving closer and closer to the movie Idiocracy. We've already had a reality star and now we have an imbecile. Another election or two and we'll be picking between two potted plants for president.
