The relevance is that media influences group think, it changes their political views. The Dire Straights song money for nothing was a hit in the 1980s and had lots of air play. The pro LGBQT agenda pushed by the media changed the views/beliefs of the next generation to the point that the song's lyric, "see that faggot with the earring and the makeup" now is censored when played on the radio today. People with successful careers see their careers ended now for things they did decades ago that were acceptable then. Media does push what their sponsors are selling but they also push the liberal agenda.... and it works.
