Larry, I'm sure you noticed my response:

Further, other than not needing what CVUS has, WinStar is not really in a position to be able to spend so lavishly on a market they have fairly well covered. WinStar's cash flow situation is still in pretty terrible shape. To have to borrow another $250M or issue another 7 or 8 million shares of stock just to obtain more bandwidth in NYC, which is already one of their largest holdings, just doesn't make sense to me. Having most of my net worth invested in WinStar, it would really piss me off for them to do something which in my opinion makes no sense. IMO, they would be ten times better off to invest $250M in ARTT if they feel more bandwidth is required.

There are others, like the Baby Bells, AT&T, Sprint, even British Telecom, and the others Bernard suggested, that have a ton more money than WinStar and would derive much greater benefit from owning CVUS. I would not be surprised to see that happen, and I bet a good amount today that that will happen. But I don't see any way WinStar would have an interest.

Of course, I'd be interested hearing others thoughts if they have followed the situation and technology at all.

Steve
