It is the new pet rock esg investing. I do all my own and lately have been investing in non public companies. They make a big deal off esg, minority owned and other such bs. I am in it to make $$. I have invested in minority owned companies as well as some so-called ESG companies. However, that is a major turnoff to hear that as the opening salvo. I want to know, how they will make $$. Some have valid business plans. I won't invest in anything that touts as directed at some sub groups. The only non public company that has paid me a dividend has figured out how to recycle stuff that is normally not recycled (such as tooth paste tubes... However, as i said, if the lead is something about socially conscious investing, I generally don't look at it. He may be turning off all messages as it may mot be possible to selectively send "investment advice".
