2 or 3 weeks and buy it for 15? Answer: they wont.

wasn't oracle supposed to buy apple too? you forget,
oracles stock is in the crapper too- they dont have the
liquidity or cash stockpiles to pay 2 billion for netscape.

Here's why IBM WON"T buy NSCP:

1- Employee retention (who in the valley wants to work for Big Blue ?)
2- How do you convince CPQ, DELL, etc.,to install your browser when you're competing with them ?
3- Zero fit with Lotus/Domino strategy

I think a software only company in the valley (ORCL) is the only "natural" fit. I also think $ 24 is too cheap for NSCP.
