He owns 50% of this event equation no matter what the courts or publics thinks.

Minors, especially teens, don't have their head screwed on right. When I look back at the crap I pulled in my teens just for the fun of it, it's a miracle that I made it to adulthood. And then there were the things that I really could have been killed for, such as picking up arms in defense of a total stranger who was getting the crap beaten out of him by two other guys much older than I was.

The law knows this and under normal circumstances treats minors with much more leniency than adults.

A minor owning 50% of what is at worst manslaughter should not be charged with murder. It's debatable if he should have even been charged with manslaughter given his age and the circumstances.

But the political climate being what it is, the prosecution could not possibly bring in the proper charges. Which is to say that the whole trial was a sham because they were pushing a political agenda rather than caring for justice and fairness.

The jury saw through that, as they should have.
