After checking into Pairgain as an investment, I find there's a great concern inside the company with a new DSL technology from some company in Japan. The concern revolves around this product having a much lower cost and possibly higher capacity.

Does anyone know who this Japanese competitor is and what technology they're talking about?

The chart for PAIR looks like its about to blast off, but I need to nail down this concern with their future.
