i was taking 5000 daily then went to 10,000 and notice bruises on my skin. it was causing me to have potential internal bleeding problems. i went back to 5000 and no problems. you have to realize the total other vitamins you are taking to determine if it is safe to increase your vitamin d. imo

The "miracle" of high doses of D... is likely to occur as a benefit only as a function of countering the impacts of chronic deficiency...

Sustained high doses of D once deficiency has been countered... is more likely to be a major health risk...

"More is always better"... is not true... vs "moderation in all things" in context... allowing a moderate excess in countering a moderate deficiency...

So, when your teeth fall out... and your kidneys fail... might want to throttle back ?

What is vitamin D toxicity? Should I be worried about taking supplements?

How much vitamin D is too much?
