Thank you, Gary. Ettore did not understand the odd lot nature in the internet brokerage transactions(they allow odd lots without extra charges). Most people pay less than $8/trade. And people buy to the limit of their credit; thus, the odd lots phenomena. You can see it in the trading data on Nasdaq:

nasdaqtrader.com

Also AMES did not understand the Web E-commerce business. They have to advertize on internet web sites. Then they have to get email address from visitors; so that they can do free direct email to customers for any promo or loss leaders or clearance items. If you do not get email address from interested potential customers; you can not get business from them on the internet. Egghead, Surplus Direct and Dell; all use free email to solicit potential customers with push technology. Email is free, so far and can reach a large number of customers. And Dell and Egghead both do $1 million/day. This is the new and latest E-commerce technology; what they have at Rocky Hill Web site is about 3 years behind in times, therefore, ineffective.
