You and I both prefer #3...and we will probably be the ones to fuel the first round of growth(if there is any)..because we already track finances now, and this sure adds convience to our input chores.

>>>I still worry, though, about somebody doing an end run with a big web "brand name", especially with the younger crowd.

Why do you think I was on them all day the other day, to get that web site cleaned up, or at least get focused on the business at hand,
Online Banking, E-Bill & E-Pay.

I can gaurantee you one thing, MSFDCs' site is! I don't see any distracting information about MS or FDC there. It's pretty clean and to the point. When you hit their site, you know what it is all about.
They just can't do anythng yet...but post news.

If we don't see MSFDC on TV when they are rolling their system out, I'll eat everybodies hat!

Banks don't have a problem saying member FDIC...I don't see why they couldn't come up with a brand name that Integrion/Checkfree/& Everybody else couldn't live with. At minimum Integrion should have a brand for their members! How about 'big axx banks'? Marketing is not of much interest to me, but that'd get my attention.

Then the brand is promoted by the banks...customers see the brand on some well trafficed web sites. Hate to keep saying it, 'push a button' find their bank, aka ORCC, set up and done. Checkfree could still be in invisable in this, if not them, then Intuit via Quicken.Com.

It is in Banks, Billers, & Consolidators best interest to get the Web traffic pointed in the right direction. And make the conversion process from paper to digital as simple as possible on you and me.

The one who wins, is the one who does this IMHO.

>>>Quickbooks(Intuit's ace in the hole, IMO) does the same for small business.

I've been watching that particular product very closely...Intuit has already stated the product is going to be delayed till summer vs. a normal winter/spring launch.

I would guess that the primary reason for that is, e-Bill testing is going on now in Quicken98, when Quickbooks rolls out...it is e-bill functional.

This will also add a few bucks to cash flow in the equation for each company. I think the 'Pay Button' in Quicken products will belong to Checkfree. At least if they were up now that's how it would stand....I believe.
