Hitachi ASICs to skip quarter-micron

SAN FRANCISCO -- Hitachi Ltd.'s ASIC group is planning to skip 0.25-micron technology and move directly from 0.35-micron to 0.18-micron CMOS. Stung by the perception that it has fallen behind in process technology, the ASIC group has begun a major initiative to leapfrog competitors in the intensely competitive CMOS ASIC market.

I believe they do attend. However I haven't been told they will be there. The newspapers will be there.
