Re: SNA ... Valuation

SNA traditionally trades at 17.29x earnings and is currently trading at 14.71x so it would appear to be slightly undervalued.

Another way to look at it is:

Valuation Analysis

Because SNA is in the Machinery industry and has positive earnings, the PEG, PE, and Price to Book ratios are the most appropriate valuation measures. The Price to Sales ratio is less instructive than the PEG or PE since the company has positive earnings. Therefore SNA seems fairly valued with a PEG of 1.42x that is in line with the Machinery industry median of 1.42x, however their PE is only 14.34x, among the lowest in the industry.

So with this in mind, what is your price target?
