Re: SNA ... Valuation

Here is SSD's take on SNA's valuation

+++
Valuation
SNA's current dividend yield of 2.65% is 17% above its 5-year average of 2.26%, which indicates that now could be a reasonable time to invest unless you believe that the company's outlook has weakened.

In addition, SNA's forward P/E ratio of 14.2 is about in line with its 5-year average of 14.4. The market appears to be valuing the stock similarly to how it has in the past, suggesting that SNA could be fairly priced if you believe its health and long-term prospects are solid.

Re: SNA Valuation

SNA median PE for the past 5 years is 14. Using 2022 estimated earnings of $14.65, that gives me $205.

At $214 today it's a bit pricy, but in the right ballpark. I would want it to come down a bit if I wanted to buy it (which I don't currently).
