Yep. Down nearly 2 on what everyone here is saying is a good report.

Teknvstr. As for Cisco saying they're gonna do this and that and not delivering... Don't let that behemoth lull you into a false sense of security. Cisco has a lot at risk with thier huge installed base so the product they build must pass through a tough and complex testing environment. This slows down time to market which clearly is a problem for them however it doesn't mean they don't deliver in the end. I suspect BFR and Carrier Class Remote Access are on the horizon as well as a plethora of other things. Cisco is a machine my friend.

As for your assertion that Yurie's growth isn't slowing... 168% qtr over qtr... 25% annualized = 144%. That's slowing. Furthermore, the much of the business they're getting is from one company (Splitrock) where Li sits' on the board of directors. Hmmmm... Interesting. Ericsson's orders are to fulfill business at Splitrock. So revenue generation is simply moved from a direct sell to SPLTROCK to Ericsson. As for RBOC orders. This may be. Yuri has the inside edge since they've been out there for a while, but make no mistake...Carriers would much rather deal with their incumbents such as NT, CSCO, and NN. Now, if LU buys Yurie... that's another issue altogether. Then the algorithm changes a bit.... ;)

BTW: I reread this point:

Cisco is world famous for saying "We're gonna do this and we're gonna do that..."

WORLD FAMOUS? If that were the case they wouldn't be trading at an all time high and no one would believe anything John Chambers say's. In fact, nothing could be further from the truth.

I commend the Yuri bull's for being faithful, but perhaps ya'll should try to be a bit more objective. I've always said to my friends; don't ever get to personal with your stock picks. You really have to keep at arms length to make good decisions. If you do this then most of the time you'll be right. If you get emotional over a stock, most of the time you'll be wrong. That's been my experience for what it's worth.
