Shares available in the public market are those shares issued via SEC filings (IPOs, Secondaries, etc.). All other shares adding up to the 30 are closely held shares by insiders and are not available to be bought or sold without disclosure. The shares available in the public market are disclosed at the SEC website in the form of 424B4 filings and total 5.45 million shares (or 10.9 million shares split adjusted). With the 3 million share stock buyback this number will drop dramatically leaving the short position bare bottom naked on a huge 50+% risky short position in a thin float. The topper is that this company holds a mortal lock on the key enabling technology for the entire semiconductor industry which is growing exponentially in leaps and bounds.
