Curly,

If we take this pre-split percentage of closely held shares and apply it to the current number of share we should get a larger float than 10M.
Or I may be confused?

Ok... let's figure this out so we all know.

I think the float is closer to 20 million. You think it's closer to 10 million. I might be wrong...

Here's the SEC EDGAR listing for Cymer...
sec.gov

I can't find a simple float figure etc..

I know there's approx. 30 million shares outstanding.

I know that management was given approx. 4 million.

We know that Nikon, ASMLF, Cannon and SVGI held approx. 10% of the company.. but ASMLF sold their share. That leaves approx. 7.5% if they all bought evenly and the rest still held. 30 million x 7.5% = 2.25 million shares.

So far we have 30 million - 4 - 2.25 = 23,750,000 left.

The options given to executives are small and many sold their shares, I don't think we should factor that.

I don't know about the venture shares? Did they hold?

The recent secondary offering is good for 3.8 million shares so that give us approx. 19,950,000 shares in the float. That's assuming the convertible debentures are added into the Outstanding shares.

We have seen alot of insider selling in 1997. I suspect lot's of the initial IPO holders have bailed. I think most of the funds lightened up as well.

Can you show me some information?

Aloha

" mortal lock?"

Recently I read about a very simple system using solid state laser technology. Basically, the fifth harmonic (213 nm) from a Nd:YAG laser is summed with the output (2.1 microns) from an OPO pumped by the same Nd:YAG laser. This sum-frequency generation is a accomplished with a lithium triborate or cesium lithium borate crystal. The output is 193 nm. Its relatively simple technology that is being funded out of the Air Force Wright Laboratory in Ohio.

Are there any experts out there with comments? My experience has primarily been in the use of UV wavelengths for medical applications, primarily ablation.
