This is definitely a target market for Spectrum's c6x based products. Q. How are DSPs used in wireless base stations? A. Base stations capture voice signals from the radio waves and relay them to a telephone line. This can be a daunting task. Callers may be moving, and signal strengths can ebb and flow. Some signals may reflect off buildings and other structures, so that the base station receives both the original signal and a slightly delayed "shadow" signal. Other radio devices or even adverse weather in the cell may create intermittent noise. The challenge is to receive the user's signal, recover the voice data from the received digital stream, and pass the signal along to the system's public telephone switching office. Such signal-processing tasks, known as equalization, noise filtering, channel decoding, encryption and forward error correction, are optimally performed by DSPs.

[ Chat ] Pat, I thought you were off to Cabo San Lucas? Actually it's been going great. CSCO only ??? I thought you may have been playing BBTK. How's the rain? Our rain has been FREEZING Rain. I jumped up off the couch last night ready to fight an animal crawling up the side of the house with a batton. I found out today it was Ice melting off the roof and sliding down the shingles. Yep , it's a barrel of fun. Enjoy your rain, it could be Freezing you know. :)) Looks like this week was the week to load a few more shares. I think I mentioned somewhere here on the thread that if a hammer formed it would be a good opportunity to add. Looks like it did a Hammer Tues & Thurs. I'm seeing a Fast Sto Trigger today. RSI is next and at the trigger now. OBV too. With Cume Money Flow Rising. And MACD waiting to trigger too. Walt's Slow Sto has just reversed to Up today and is moving toward the Trigger. The 50DMA looks like it's turned and is now upward moving. I'll leave out the Bol Bands. I use the 50DMA Bol Band instead of the shorter term ones. It is moving up off the 50DMA Envelope though. Last time it did that was 12/31. Looks good to me. NEPF mentioned it to me last nite on the Charts Thread. He thought it looked good as well.
