Thanks. "GOP bill sponsors said outside donations to government agencies create the impression of undue influence in elections." It does create that impression and government is supposed to go out of its way to avoid giving the impression. The veto would look better if it came with some effort to correct any chronic shortfalls in funding for servicing elections, IOW, fixing the problem rather than the symptom.

If it does, it stops right there. It cannot be allowed. This is the one question that must be asked and answered. Interestingly, it seems all Democrats are just okay with this obviously corrupt initiative. The same people who were whining about Citizens United have no problem with actual money contributed to to enable cheating in the precincts. Isn't that something.
