The major trends in US foreign policy remain remarkably consistent from one administration to the next. The China containment policy started during Obama administration and kept picking up steam in every successive admin. I don't like the VIE structure. Not only there is always a chance that China will ban it (even though recently they yet again grudgingly ok'd it), I don't like to pay for something that has neither a voting right nor takes a share of the profits. There is no logical reason why anyone should buy a VIE stock. Speaking of Singapore, EWS seems very undervalued. All it needs is an improvement in the technicals.
