I know you were joking but the lego secondary market actually prices/buys/sells individual pieces. Breaking a set and selling the pieces generally grosses more than the complete set. Of course it is a huge hassle and overhead to sell 500 individual pieces versus 1 set.

But assuming coffee is around a dollar, you could buy a cup of coffee with one "Husky Dog" aka 17817 or about 100 common bricks (many of which sell for about a penny a piece). <G>
