Tesla is not the top AI company in Silicon Valley. There are plenty of others - Apple, Google, Nvidia are market leaders. Even IBM pioneered it? I can’t see full self driving from Tesla, somebody else will do it first. You just
can’t work on every aspect and expect to beat the competition forever. Granted, they will beat GM and big 3 automakers, but other Tech? If their AI kills people, it’s not gonna get bought. Full self driving still seems quite a bit in the future, because of lives at stake, but who knows. It seems almost everyone does AI these days.

They did very well with fast charging aspect, which made EVs practical. I can see Tesla like Netscape was
for the internet, ultra rich hype valuations, waiting to get murdered by the competition. I don’t think they can pull off full self driving. A great short some day.
