Sorry to open your eyes, but take a red pill, and ... Welcome to real world! As you may noticed two very polarized opposite parties are not really vocal about deficit and national debt with two exceptions: - when they are running for Congress, - when the opposite party is in power. Here is one secret hidden in plain sight: Both parties love and accept MMT without having any real knowledge about it. All of them love MMT, because their understating is that this theory allows to spend money like drunken sailor without thinking about deficit or inflation. Real MMT have limits on spending, but who cares about real theory - don't expect too much from our congress people.
