essentially, they must buy into the power trip or admit to a host of distasteful, if not questionable motives.it becomes a matter of self-preservation to play the role of protector after the fact...in order to justify any present, or any future plans. to allow for her organic lack of appeal would be to allow weakness and indiscretion far too much influence. and all of this hinges on our taking her back into the fold...they could no more admit her insidiousness than fathom its depths. they don't know any better. and that's why they don't get what we don't buy. we don't need to buy it. pretty simple, don't you think?
