When divorce happened I ended up in crappy basement department in Ajax.. 1300/mnth

homes in that hood went from 450 to 700K in the two years I was there.. and NOTHING like home I had in Scarborough .. land or size..

Canada sees 20th month of rising prices for new homes: Statistics Canada

The largest price increases for new homes was found in London, Kitchener–Cambridge–Waterloo and Toronto, where values jumped 2.8 per cent, 1.9 per cent and 1.4 per cent monthly.

Prices in Montreal and Vancouver went up 1.1 per cent and 0.7 per cent between October to November.
