Flightless bird, maybe you and your friends are some of those who got in early and hyped it up, eh? If that is so, I don't doubt you would take exception to someone warning others to be careful. Yes, there is nothing wrong with profit taking, unless you are hyping the hell out of the stock at the same time and encouraging others to buy as you are selling. Is that what you and some of your friends have been doing? I certainly hope not.

You are right. One day does not make a pump and dump. I have not made up my mind yet, but the hype does raise one's suspicions. I am not inflamed at all, just cautious and urging others to be cautious as well. I am on the sidelines and will be waiting with interest to see what develops next week. As you can see, I am not the only one urging caution. Especially in light of some of the false share figures and ridiculous eps claims being made. Those figures were what raised the red flag for me. Best of luck to all involved.

flightlessbird:

You say the company may release good news next week that would justify the runup, and then some.

I say there is no news the company could release next week that justifies the hype it has received on this thread. The best the company could announce next week is that they have players and sponsors. While that would certainly be good news, it would not justify the $2 per share valuation that has been hyped on this thread.

If everything goes right for this company; it pulls off three tournaments and earns every penny it projects, it is still arguably not a $2 stock even AFTER it has proven itself. It certainly is not a $2 stock BEFORE it proves itself.

Doesn't mean it won't get to $2 before it proves itself. But if it does, it is not likely to stay there until AFTER it puts on 3 tournaments AND earns the profits it projects.

Flightlesbird: the name of the game for some posters after they have sold is to run the stock down so they can get back in cheap then buy back for the news that's coming or just on a expected run up. You know that I'm sure. Why say anything good about it, since they no longer benefit by it, only if it comes down to get back in, only trouble is sometimes they get fooled and are trapped out.
