Well, unless you are testing daily, you don't know if you are contagious. That is why so many here wear masks. This is a long established fact so I wonder why you "forgot" it..... to justify behavior that may put others at risk.

Of course I don't know that I'm not contagious without a test, and neither does anyone. However my prevention protocol gives me some confidence I don't have covid. Which brings me to some other questions for you:

Why did you get the vaccine in the first place? Wasn't it to protect yourself from covid? Do you think the current variant vaccine (for Delta or Omicron...I actually don't know) is protecting you? Aren't you concerned about future variants that may have a delay between mass infection and booster availability that offers protection? If you feel you're protected now, why all the public paranoia (not necessarily you).

I view my prevention protocol (much more than just IVM) like a permanent vaccine that should protect me from all covid variants, given that the way it works is to prevent invasion of the coronavirus into susceptible tissues. Of course there might be some new variant that works differently but I suspect I might still have some protection since IVM itself has proven effective against many other viruses (dengue fever, river blindness, west nile, yellow fever, some tick-borne viruses, etc).

Finally, should covid get past my prevention protocol, I have a doctor who has treated well over 100 cases at home without any hospitalizations needed.

So I'm happy and without fear but remain vigilant for any indication of covid.
