Domestic Auto Inventories (AUINSA)

I am not sure I understand you Bob. But I am glad you called so we can talk autos.

I saw this on the Federal Reserve site: fred.stlouisfed.org

Now this seems like a very long term downtrend in autos. Does that make sense to you? Or did the US just get used to carrying fewer inventories but the sales remain the same.

The other thing in that chart is that woah!! talk about scraping the bottom of the barrel. There really isn't an inventory to be had. I didn't realize it was that bad.

When the inventory picks up - which public companies do you think will benefit the most? Are there any banks that specialize in lending for autos and capital goods? Are there any publicly traded new auto dealerships (not used cars)? Who do you think will benefit from the bounce?
