Safelight Repair is free if you have insurance.

safelite.com

Those repair procedures need a vacuum source and the resin cures with time or light. Used to have a guy come do all the used cars once a month.

His charge was reasonable if we let him do them all. 2 to 4 hours of work for $250 to $300 and my cars never left the lot or needed drivers to be paid.

Don't know where to buy the resin.

I checked Eastwood and Harbor freight to no avail.

I have read that clear nail polish applied to the star in the glass will keep it from cracking.

I have a friend with an auto glass replacement business. When one of our windshields got a bunch of pock marks and stars from following a dump truck spilling gravel he did something that fixed all of them as good as new.

Check with outfits that replace auto glass.

Blessings,
