The Paula Jones lawsuit is a judicial matter outside the realm of governmental business. He has a duty to answer the questions put to him truthfully, just as any citizen should.

I agree that he has an obligation to answer questions about Jones. I do not think he should be required to respond to anything her attorney's might want to know about his sexual activity with other women. My guess is that if he'd simply refused to do so, nobody'd have thrown him in jail for contempt of court; on the contrary, he's probably have been applauded.
