TideGlider, I happen to like BA (a little lower maybe on a new low in the low 40?), but what is beyond my comprehension is how did we get the discussion to BA?

>>>Hehehe! I used to own Boeing and cringed every time a Jet crashed.
I just couldn't take it. Some day soon BA will grow fast.<<<

I still own BA shares, from converted MD shares I'd been holding for years. I sold a little to lock in some profits in the 50s, but will hold the rest for the forseeable future. With over $100 billion in backlog, they have quite a secure future, at that. BA is a no-brainer investment.

Why do you think the service side is difficult for the competition? I believe that it is incredibly important defense for CYMI to have great service ( and great new products) to serve as barrier to competition.

I thought I remembered from earlier posts that the Asian customers were not happy with service quality. Can any one comment?

I don't know if you have been to Asia, but they set the standards for customer service. US companies struggle with this cultural bias. Komatsu is huge and understands this issue.

Similarly, Lamda is owned by Coherent who is huge with a global service system.

I believe the competition is well positioned in this regard.

PS: Thanks for the SVGL link, its quite good. Still reviewing.
