Clipped from Valdai Club article posted earlier: Nationalism vs Cosmopolitanism Victor Davis Hanson just did a podcast essay on this. He says that China is the Nationalist and the rest of the world (mostly) is Cosmopolitan. Now we are fracturing, due to the reasons identified below - basically, the excesses of liberalism. So VDH wonders, what do we do when China isn't acting in a cosmopolitan interest? Answer is simple: Get our act together and get some real America first people in office, and stop allowing patent theft and educational spying, etc. Stop supporting the excesses of nuts. Liberty, OTOH, is great. CCP is a much bigger problem than Russia, long term. It looks like people are waking up to that. I loved the Matt Lee dogged questioning about the "false flag" that they pulled out of their butts concerning a planned "fake" Russian video they supposedly got wind of. Their credibility is shot. Matt Lee did a discredit to Alex Jones by comparing them. AJ is much more credible at this point.
