SVGL was a spin out of Perkin Elmer. PE is an optics house in their own right ( Hubble and the telescopes that point towards the earth :)). So I would guess SVGL gets optics from PE.
Any confirmations?

So it would seem that lenses makers are not a good play. What about the materials that the optics are made from? Any ideas?
