No, don't buy a deep out of the money call. Buy a slightly in the money call instead. If you buy an out of the money call, you could get stuck with the price above your shorting price and below your strike price. Sheesh.

Also, I would wait until AOL breaks downward before you step in. You and everyone else in the world wants to short this stock. As soon as the dam breaks, we're going a long way down. No need to be the first on the train, only on the train.

Am I missing something here? This is the first time I've heard of this. AOL is already aligned against MSFT...in the form of #1 AOL vs #2 MSN. But then again, AOL uses MSIE for its internet browser, not Netscape's browser...
