Tony,

You don't stand on Superman's cape, you don't spit into the wind, you don't tug on the mask of the old Lone Ranger, and you don't mess around with...Intel. Not exactly perfect Jim Croce, but you should get the message.

I like it. Let's not mess with Intel then. Second opinion may get us going next week with positive write up...lots of people I know follow their recs, so even with a so-so CC from AMAT we should still be okay.

Go back 15 or so years and you will find that people were saying similar things about IBM -- even to the extent that the North American continent would end up becoming one of IBM's myriad divisions.

To its credit, it has to be noted that IBM did manage to survive the ensuing downslide, but perhaps the same could not be said of its once-arrogant shareholders...
