TRACK REPORT!!!! GET IT HERE! gtoland Live! from California Speedway with his cell phone. That's right Folks, I've just spoken to gtoland who is at the California Speedway and he offers this update on the BAT Out of Hell SUPER CAR! The trail will start in about 30 min. It is a beautiful day, sunny about 50 degrees F and no rain. The Big 3 are not represented. Several of their engineers wanted to come but did not get clearance. The Car running today is a purple GEO METRO. Several shareholders are present, including gtoland. The test today is strictly for efficiency; ie, how many mpg they can make. They are talking about $4 per gallon diesel in Europe. More info on gtolands next check in. He will take questions from SI posters. No info on announcements yet! BTW, gtoland talked to Joe who confirmed he was giving rides to shareholders last night. Vehicle was doing fine at 80-90 mph.
