Hi Lee,

When I was 17 I bought two rough classics. A 54 Corvette and a 55 Nomad. The vette is done and the Nomad is a WIP.

As a dealer who also focussed on used car dept. I added a 78 vette 42 k miles and a 70 Nova 42k miles - both frame off restored.

I also have a 56 and a 57 vette, one a parts car with no title. The 57 is a real fuelie 283 hp and a real 4spd - perhaps the most valuable car, and the nicest.

I have 2 Harleys , both with less that 5000 miles. A 2001 dyna glide CVO and a 2003 springer Heritage Softail.

The collective problem I have is 45 minutes of driving them takes 4 hours of detail clean up. There are only so many Sundays in a week LOL

Classics , but destined to not many miles of driving. I like that - it keeps them survivor class kind of rides over time.

Some day my wife will sell the collection at Mecum or Barrett Jackson. The crowd will say who's collection?, but the vehicles will speak for themselves.

Meanwhile I have to stay in shape and live to be 100, so I can finish them all. <smile>
