I have a lot of jade. It is highly valued by our would-be masters and the value is in the eye of the beholder. Easy to increase that value by polishing small parts and cutting it to more manageable size. Plus, I like it and it gives me a hobby to mess around with. Started out as a way to convince my VSO that we do indeed have some here locally. Finally convinced her. Stone of Heaven - if I ever do produce something eye-catching, it could be here for 1000 years or more. Until it is finally comminuted. Sure hope we don't become the Comminuted States of the NWO. I think keeping gold in the Texas State depository is a good idea. Texas has the 2nd largest army (i.e. National Guard) in Nation. Although California is larger, when Texas Secedes every able bodied male between 18 and 60 will become a member of the Texas Dept of Defense. As well as being backed up by all the female gun owners. One factoid. The USS Texas guns were never demilled. It is still able to defend the Galveston port when it is finally moved. Yes it is WWI vintage, but nobody wants to take on battleship guns. (Remember the movie battleship? Even the aliens where hurt by WWII technology) G-n-G
