volunteer fire dept and besides donations i expect they may get some money from the township tax. cook outs etc. we not pay any fire department tax. I don't remember the township paying any money in their budget decades ago. we live in pa.about 30 miles west of philly . townships that are exploding. esp. building apartments by 1000's. I expect this is federal incentives? Major changes in the last four decades. used to be all country. Now large farms or areas are being sold for development. oh, no water or sewer fees,tax. we are on a well and septic. Plans to change that in a few years.
