Crazy day... I'm up overall so far for the day. One super micro cap biotech stock I sliced fingers scaling into on the way down is up 15% today.... but only one buy (of many) is green so I'm not crowing yet!

FB hit two of my targets... but I told myself to give it time to breath... maybe look for a test of the low or it will go even lower. I like buying quality at 50% discounts, but it sure takes patience. I'm thinking the QQQ's still have a bearish breakdown with a target far below where it is now so maybe wait...

It is nice to be using asset allocation so you suffer when markets go down but not as much as permabulls with all in... so you can use the cash to buy real bargains. If they don't come, you still have enough to enjoy the new highs.

The only "real risks" I face now are inflation making my cash holdings worthless... and getting too greedy and buying stocks that could crash if inflation soars out of control for several years. Even then, my TIPS, IBONDS and paid for home other than what is in iBonds to offset the mortgage and generate income now at about double the mortgage interest rate... will lessen the pain.

I think the Nasdaq fell a bear amount to join the Russell 2000.
