SteveG, Do you know anything about Intermedia Communications <ICIX>? It seems like a pretty interesting story with a lot of the same fundamentals as WCII. It seems like a logical takeover . It has a market cap of about a bil. It has revenues of about 600 mil and will be EBITDA pos in a quarter or Two. They are growing gangbusters via acquisitions and seem to have a considerable fiber network. You have got to see the chart. It has run up about 500% already in the last year but is putting in a nice cup with a handle pattern as we speak. Again, the market cap seems incredibly low. Other CLECS like Teleport and Brooks have sold for 5-6 times plant. ICIX has 500 mil plant. It seems that if they go it will be for at least 2.5-3 Bil.The buzz is it will definitely be sold at some point. There are only 12.5 mil shares outstanding @ 63 a pop. Price targets are for 80 this year but most do not think it will last that long ( sound familiar?) I am not really familiar with the breakdown of their revs. If anyone knows the story behind this one i would appreciate any info. Sorry to use this thread for non WinStar related convo. But, if I'm gonna buy this thing at a strong technical buypoint I may only have a few days to learn the story and decide. Thanks in advance for any info.
