>>Who do you think is going to do anything about it?<<

44 million Ukrainians, supplied with weapons from every free country on Earth. Putin has made a huge mistake.

People are often deceived by the recency fallacy. Plenty of people believe that Putin is making a huge mistake, including thousands of people in Russia who are protesting against this war despite the threat of being jailed by the Russian regime.

We will see how "intelligent and capable" he is in the ripeness of time.

Who do you think is going to do anything about it? I sure as hell hope we stay out of it. And I’m extremely concerned this idiot president is going to do something stupid.

Actually, it is Putin who is doing "something stupid". The combination of Ukrainians themselves with the aid of NATO countries along with Russian mothers and protesters are what will defeat him in Ukraine. Putin is an idiot. This war will be his downfall, not his apotheosis. As has been usual in history, hubris leads to a fall.

She knows he’s 100 kilometers (62 miles) from Kharkiv, but not whether he’s in Ukraine or in Russia. “I don’t know why my child is where a war is going on,” she says on the phone, in tears.

There are a lot of Russians and Ukrainians who have come to Israel in the last 20 years or so. They know the situation there better than almost anyone else outside of those countries.
