Microsoft is changing to a subscription model and that doesn't appeal to me at all. Me either, Josh. Being an Intel retiree, I had used Windows/Microsoft since the beginning. Microsoft lost me after Windows 7. I moved to the Mac platform and never looked back (I should have done it sooner!) greg.

When will the subscription requirement begin? Are there really any choices for those of us who are aren't real sharp at learning curves? I'm thinking about the ease of leaving MS Office for Libre Office years ago. Hoping for something like that.
