I agree on your take re Betty Currie. However I have some trouble with your idea of a Monica set-up.

1. Why would they need to set her up? She had submitted the affidavit.

2. Did they know that Tripp would be subpoened?

3. Events take unexpected turns, even for a "simple" attempt at suborning perjury.

BTW, Why are you so sure that they are not Monica's words?
