PS I did not mean that as a joke. Write to your congressman and tell them to make it happen. This is one of the best ways to end the war, destroy the Russian army's morale, and save Ukraine. Just ask the soldiers why they should want to kill the Ukrainians or be killed by them when they can have a good life in Europe or the US. If even 20% of the soldiers take up the offer (and perhaps more will), then that is disruptive enough to end the war.
