Zeus,

Sorry I haven't responded, but I the weather was nice so I decided to take some time off from the net and work in the real world. And, as luck would have it, John has answered most of your questions.

You seem to be just about there. "Just about there" is where I usually find myself when it comes to networks. Your only problem seems to be a minor configuration error in Zeus2. Right click on Network Neighborhood for Zeus1 and carefully note all the settings. Now do the same with Zeus2 and compare. Except for the obvious (computer name), they should be the same. If everything is set the same on both computers and you still can't access the net from Zeus2, take a large hammer and smash Zeus2 into small pieces. Just kidding.

The two Zeuses are obviously talking to each other so its gotta be something very simple, right John?

Oh yeah, to answer your question about the Pipeline 85 -- it is an ISDN terminal adapter (aka ISDN modem). Someone probably makes an analog modem version with similar capabilities, but if you intend to have several simultaneous internet connections, an analog connection will probably be intolerably slow. However, if simultaneous access is not a priority and you want everyone on your local net to have email, I would go with Wingate installed on the machine that has the modem. Every computer will have full access to the internet. You can also use Wingate with Mdaemon mail server so that everyone on your net has individual email access through one email account.
