Did Ukrainian Nationalists ask Crimea, LNR or DNR what they want or did they shell DNR and LNR for 8 years? Does liberal Ukraine recognize Russian, spoken in homes of 46% of the population, an official language? Do they allow subjects be taught in schools in Russian?

The answer to all 3 questions is no, but they did shell DNR and LNR for 8 years, why these regions are now fighting as a part of “Russian invasion”, which Russian sources call de-nazification (they don’t plan to stay in Ukraine)
I hate the KGB. NKVD (more bloody predecessor of the KGB) killed my grandfather. I also dislike Putin, who started as a KGB officer and who
turned Russia into Sicily internally. Namely, many Russian business people must pay up to the mafia for “protection” or they will kill them. That said, WTF are they talking about when they say he must be tried for war crimes? I see no evidence of that. Waging war is not a war crime. 70% approval rating is something Biden will envy. I know he and the liberals lost my vote. Why would America want to invite Russian nukes? Republican and Trump policies toward Russia were much better, probably why there was no military action in Ukraine for so long until Biden took over.

Ukraine would abandon its application to join NATO, and accept the quasi-independence of the Russophone Donetsk and Luhansk regions adjacent to Russia. Crimea would remain Russian. Substantial commitments of reconstruction aid from China and the European Community would be required. Europe would lift sanctions against Russia. Ukraine and Russia would both declare a victory of sorts and flaunt their magnanimity and generosity in compromise.

....sounds good to me......a reasonable plan..........also seems like US wants to destroy Russia regardless.........of course, this will FAIL miserably like every other initiative from Biden regime............within a year, no one will even talk to Biden or Foggy Bottom and the US will be largely irrelevant world wide...........a total financial collapse and loss of reserve currency status likely will follow....... and then things will get ugly...............from here on in, I will focus on the ugly part because it's the only one I have any control over.
