Found this info on the IBM SSA site. It is hard to find what you are looking for. For example, you can look through all of their network attached storage stuff and not see the word SSA anywhere. This document is very interesting, because it is a description of why they are not abandoning SSA and in fact are promoting a new standard melding SSA and FC:

chips.ibm.com

Storage is megabucks and IBM can't afford to lose market share. With a FC OEM they are covering all the bases. Sun info is much clearer - especially the part about shipping more FC storage than anybody.
