What do you think will happen when you tax all the profits away?

That's right, no one will want to do business here anymore.

If we're going to be more energy independent, if we're going to rely less on oil from Russia, Venezuela, and Saudi Arabia, then we should encourage private investment in domestic energy production, not DISCOURAGE it.

But maybe fossil fuels isn't your thingy. Maybe you envision a world where everything runs on solar, wind, and unicorn farts. Fine, then let private enterprise find a way to make that all viable and stop taxing those who end up successful, like Tesla.

The "other 95%" actually care about rising gas prices and inflation.
